Sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin when purchasing art supplies. If you’ve ever seen a catalog from a supply store, you know the options go on and on.

So to get you started, I’ve listed the online stores where I often shop. These are discount art supply stores, and most products are less expensive than the same products in a regular store. Other stores that I haven’t tried yet are listed further down. Sometimes you can find certain products in one store that you can’t find in another, so be sure to check them all out.
