  1. Hello Samantha,

I would like to register for the drawing competition for my daughter (Grade 5). It says the participant should be Eagle member which I don’t understand. Could you please explain what is Eagle membership. She is based in Alberta, Canada. Expecting your response for us to register the competition if possible.

    • Hi Anu, The part about an “Eagle member” means that only members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) can submit entries on behalf of the students. Students cannot send their artwork directly to the contest organizers. Instead, an Eagle member must collect the entries and forward them to the Grand Aerie (the national headquarters of F.O.E.). So, you’ll need to connect with a local F.O.E. member who can sponsor and submit the artwork on her behalf. Here are some ways to find a local Aerie (F.O.E. chapter):

      1. Visit the F.O.E.’s official Aerie Locator: https://www.foe.com/About-The-Eagles/Aerie-Locator
Enter your city or postal code to find nearby Aeries.

      or

      2. You can contact Aerie #2102 in St. Albert: https://www.foe2102.com/

      or

      3. You can email to ask for assistance in locating a member: help@foe.com

Once you’ve found a local Aerie, contact them to inquire about sponsoring your her entry. I hope this helps!

My name is Mellogie. But you can call me Mel. My daughter’s name is Kelsie, age 11.

I am looking for competitions or clubs or anything that could enhance and showcase my daughter’s talent in arts. She’s very good in drawing, crafting, building, almost everything in arts. She never stop doing something artsy and I know she’s more than able and capable of doing more. She love it and she’s good at it.

Please help me to help my daughter to be more exposed and to be able to show her talent to the world.

She just won an award in the school also as best in art.

I look forward to hear from you soon
